First integration between the robotic and interfacing group

The past year, we completed the first integration between the robotic and interfacing group. This work investigated the existence of motor neuron synergies and their potential as sources for myoelectric control. This work combines for the first time multiple structural synergies, such as those described by a novel SoftHand Pro, and computational synergies defined by neuronal information. Recently, we included a prosthesis user to test our proposed method and obtain promising preliminary results for real-time control.
